The OFFBALL APP first and foremost has been developed to equip young athletes with cutting edge performance coaching while creating a positive culture around personal development and life beyond sport.
Secondly, the APP is innovating support features for parents and coaches of individual athletes, groups, teams and organizations who want the most from children and athletes. Clubs can place teams together to foster accountability, motivation and completion while gaining insights on training load, lifestyle factors and family or club wide education on important performance, parenting and coaching issues.

Olympic Athlete turned human performance specialist Martin Reader combines his extensive coaching and professional experience with his passion for mentoring and leading youth. The OFFBALL Movement is a culture shift towards more self aware, empowered and inspired athletes to own and maximize their potential in sport while building life skills that will serve them for life.
Make your personal development is your competitive advantage
At the macroscopic level Individual athletes, teams and organizations will have access to a daily, weekly and monthly guided progressions in breath, mindfulness, lifestyle design and performance psychology relating to personal and athletic development. At the microscopic level each individual athlete will go through a brief daily questionnaire to begin tracking weekly and monthly trends in effort and energy. Parents and coaches will receive a non individualized overview to then make informed adjustments on training load and lifestyle factors.

Youth are more stressed, anxious and overtrained than ever before. Youth sport culture is demanding so much from young athletes yet the education necessary to prepare for, handle and navigate these modern issues isn’t being provided. Players don’t know what they don’t know and the answer to performance isn’t doing more, it is being more by learning the arts of mind, body and life.

We all have negatives proxies we need to manage and deal with but positive proxies are tough to come by. Unique to the OFFBALL App there is a daily conversation that is uplifting and virtuous to expand context and inspire personal development. Each Virtue is expanded upon in a daily “positive proxy” audio recording that will challenge and inspire athletes to think bigger about their journey in sport and use it as an opportunity to become a champion in life.
